Last summer we collected blackberries and grapes from our backyard before the deer could eat them…sometimes. I bought some pectin and followed the directions for freezer jam, really easy and delicious, you know just what is in your jelly! It turned out good, my fam thinks it’s good, at least the ones that have discovered the joy of jelly…:) The one thing I did do that was time consuming a little was use a nut cloth to put the blended mixture in. I then used my hands to squish out the juice and leave the seeds behind. This is messy, I suggest doing this over a bowl in the sink and having a cloth and running water nearby! But worth it so you don’t have a seed every second when you eat the jelly!
